Candidates must be performance oriented and fluent in AutoCAD 2012 or higher. Our projects vary in size and complexity, ranging from Single Family Residential to High-Rise Buildings in Manhattan.
Position would entail assisting in preparation of architectural design and construction documents including plans, elevations, sections, details, schedules, correcting and updating drawings and preparing design presentations including renderings and related design graphics. Responsibilities will also include assisting in administration of various projects from inception thru completion, drafting, field surveying, research of project specific components, code analysis, coordination with sub-consulting engineer teams, assisting with response to Request for Information, and general office support of principal and project managers.
Strong Graphic Skills in AutoCAD is required and proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Revit, Sketchup, Lumion and Microsoft Office is desired. Candidates are required to have a Bachelors or Masterís Degree in Architecture from an NAAB Accredited Program.

Recently we opened an office in China and are looking for an experienced and ambitious Senior Architect for our Shanghai office. The atmosphere within the office is open, international, multidisciplinary and ambitious, but also friendly with attention to personal development and career planning.
The ideal candidate will have solid experience in Chinese construction practices and management of civic/cultural and commercial projects in China. The Anderson Studio of Architecture and Design seeks a full-time dynamic Project Architect to join our Charleston, SC office. The Project Architect will be part of a design team, with project locations ranging from the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic regions of the US to the Caribbean.
Desired skills and experience:
- 7+ years experience in the design of high-end, custom residential projects.
- Masterís degree in Architecture preferred.
- Ability to comfortably move between modern and historically inflected design languages.
- Strong hand sketching and computer graphics skills, with software knowledge/experience to ideally include:
- Adobe Creative Suite.
- Microsoft Office Suite, with an emphasis on Excel and Word.
- ArchiCAD (this is a major plus).
- Other CAD 2D and 3D software.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, with an emphasis on communication, teamwork and collaboration.
- Must be motivated, willing to learn and take direction.

Openstudio Architects is a small and dynamic architectural practice looking for a bright, self-motivated and meticulous Part 2 Assistant or recent Part 3 qualified Architect. Candidates should have a minimum of 1-2 years experience in a design-led practice and a desire to be involved in developing beautifully crafted projects.
Responsibilities will include preparing and developing drawings of buildings and interiors, models and images and coordinating project information. Perfect written and spoken English are essential. Vectorworks and Mac experience will be an advantage, as will excellent presentation skills and experience in high-end residential and/or commercial projects.
