Shubin + Donaldson Architects in Santa Barbara is seeking a B. Arch or M. Arch graduate with minimum 0-2 years experience. Candidate must be able to comprehend design principles and implement them with concepts drawings, schematics, design development and working drawings a multitude of project types. Must have excellent hand and computer assisted drawing skills and have a keen discernment for producing presentation quality materials. Physical and 3D computer modeling skills are required. Revit skills a plus.

Shubin + Donaldson has offices in Santa Barbara, Los Angeles and Baja, Mexico and is staffed by 20 architects and designers, plus support personnel. Our current work is diverse with international and local projects, Hospitality/resorts, Mixed use, Commercial, Residential and creative office space are a few of the markets we currently have projects in.

The individuals we are looking for must be creative upper level full time Project Architects with extensive design talent. Our firm specializes in residential high-density urban in-fill projects including mixed-use, TOD, affordable and senior housing.

Applicants must meet the following requirements in order to be considered for this position:

- Licensed California Architect.
- LEED Accreditation.
- Minimum 8 years’ experience in high-density multi-family residential projects.
- Possess superior graphic design ability.
- Be able to articulate design strategy to team as well as clients.
- Creative problem solver able to quickly conceptualize and graphically express the "big idea".
- "Can do" attitude with a resolve to do what it takes to complete the talk.
