Project Architect with 5-10 yrs residential and commercial experience on the US East coast. Previous employment with local (Westchester/Fairfield,CT) architecture firms a plus. Should have strong design and 3D skills (SketchUp, Accurender, etc.) as well as high proficiency in AutoCAD (Architectural Desktop) and production of working drawings. WASA, A&E firm looking for Project Architect, minimum five to ten years project related experience. Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, working hand in hand with Partner in Charge and Project Manager in all phases of the project, conducting field surveys and client interviews, attending meetings/coordinating with engineering and all design consultants.
The candidate should have a developed sense of design, technically competent and have knowledge of building codes. Working in BIM (Revit) is mandatory.

This role interacts with all members of the firm and requires daily problem solving, time management, multi-tasking and a great attitude under pressure. Frequently works on one or more projects at a time. Well-developed organizational and communication skills and attention to detail are required. Provides additional project support as necessary.
Requirements:
- California Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or equivalent work experience (8 years+).
- Strong experience in CAD (2008 or newer preferred).
- Experience in Healthcare and Hospital related projects (3-5 years preferred).
- Experience working with the Office of Statewide Health Planning Department (OSHPD).
- Thorough knowledge of architectural drafting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs such as Word and Excel.
- Strong professionalism and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
