Greenwich Village A&E firm looking for Project Architect, minimum five to ten years project related experience. Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, working hand in hand with Partner in Charge and Project Manager in all phases of the project, conducting field surveys and client interviews, attending meetings/coordinating with engineering and all design consultants.
The candidate should have a developed sense of design, technically competent and have knowledge of building codes. Working in BIM (Revit) is mandatory.
14/03/2013 :: Junior Architect
Immediate opening for talented junior architect. Recent graduate with one to four years of experience with degree from an accredited program. This position will assist the project team in all design phases from initial concept to the execution of drawing sets including material research and presentation.
The ability to work with short time frames and meet deadlines a must. Candidate must be detail oriented and organized.
Self motivated, energetic individuals with strong graphic and verbal communication skills with the desire to work in a team environment.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, 3D rendering software, Adobe CS and Office Suite required.
Institutional, educational and research laboratories experience a plus.
Legal authorization to work in the US mandatory.

JTA is looking for an architect to work with us on our growing portfolio of projects, ranging from new build houses to large commercial projects.
You should have:
- A minimum of three years post Part III experience and the following skills.
- An interest in low-energy design.

Minimum requirements:
- 5-8 years post-graduation work experience in a renowned design firm.
- Proven track record of working on design to construction stages of retail interior design projects.
- Strong design skills.
- Experience in team leadership.
- Strong communication skills, commitment, reliability and team spirit.
- A conscientious attitude towards details.
- Experience producing FF&E packages and Finish Schedules.
- Experience in sustainable design and rating systems, lighting design, and furniture design.
- Knowledge of Chinese planning and construction regulations is an advantage.

The person
You will be a Qualified Architect or have achieved your Part II (2.1 or above) and have experience working within a leading design organisation. You will be highly proficient in Microstation and/or Revit software.
You will enjoy working in a collaborative team environment to tight deadlines and demonstrate an ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels and from all backgrounds both verbally and in writing.
