Stephen Yablon Architect is a small, award-winning architecture firm in New York City recognized for innovative contemporary architecture attuned to place and identity. Our work includes architecture, interiors, and planning for public, institutional, and private clients.
We are seeking a Junior Architect who is passionate about contemporary design, creative, highly organized, personable, and a clear thinker and communicator.
Responsibilities will include assisting other architects on all phases of design, physical model building, and 3D modeling and rendering.
Qualifications include:
- 1 year minimum of experience.
- Excellent ACAD, Adobe CS, 3D (Rhino and V-Ray), and physical modeling skills.
- BArch or March degree.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S.

John Thompson & Partners is an international placemaking practice of architects and urbanists. From our studios in London, Edinburgh and Shanghai we undertake projects at every scale, from cities and towns, to neighbourhoods, streets, and the design of individual buildings.
We are leading a number of urban extensions and new neighbourhoods at both outline planning and detailed design stages; and are looking for a creative and responsive architect who is excited by the possibilities of the creation of new sustainable places.
The successful candidate will be a confident, proactive and highly organised team player with exceptional design and technical skills. You feel at ease communicating across different mediums from CAD, SketchUp and in particular through hand-drawing. Ideally you will be proficient in Microstation. Revit would be advantageous. Working well under pressure you thrive in a busy, creative environment.
This role would suit a qualified architect with 1 – 3 years post qualification experience. You will need to have experience of preparing outline and detailed planning applications for large scale residential and mixed use developments. Experience of writing Design & Access Statements is essential.

WATG has an opportunity for an Intermediate Designer, Architecture in our Irvine, CA office. This position is responsible for assisting the Senior Project Designer and Project Designer in designing small to mid-size hospitality projects. The Intermediate Designer assists in the development of the project design, production of presentation drawings, sketches and assists in solving design complexities. This individual must demonstrate creativity and good design judgment. This position is expected to demonstrate professionalism, high standards and sound judgment. It is essential to develop your knowledge in architecture and to support a continuous learning environment. Team building and motivation are also key responsibilities.
This position requires a B.S. or B.A. in Architecture and 6+ years experience in designing small to mid-size architectural projects including urban and resort hotels. An architecture license is preferred. It is essential for the Intermediate Designer position to demonstrate creativity, a strong design sensibility and knowledge of architectural project phases. This position requires the ability to use computer systems as an effective tool as well as proficiency in CAD, Revit and 3D modeling. Presentation skills are required. Travel may be required.
